"There is animal abuse in ALL animal circuses. How else does one get an animal to do silly tricks that are unnatural to them (e.g like an elephant sitting on its backside)? - by force. Show me what you get by 'training' wild animals with love only. You wouldn't get tricks, would you? Therefore, ALL animal circuses are seriously bad news, and surely by now we should have evolved beyond the point of this archaic form of 'entertainment'. What are we really teaching our children by taking them to these circuses? High five to the human circuses around the world.”

Thandora's new home
Free at last! Celebrating Thandora's Freedom!
It is with extremely joyful hearts that the NSPCA reports that Thandora, the elephant kept captive in a zoo for 24 years, is finally FREE. Our determination to see her back in the wild where she belongs has at last made her release from captivity a reality. This was a hard-won victory and we thank one and all for cheering Thandora on towards freedom.
